She is the wife of  saint  Jaratkaru, she is believed to be riding on cobra. She is the god who fulfills the wishes of  Her worshippers

Eradicator of malevolence

Chamunda is the goddess She is worshiped as the killer of evil. Her name was  is  called after Her deed as  She had killed Chanda and Munda the two racked and ruined demons who were causing panic to human being and for demigods as well. She is supposed to patronage some magical and supernatural powers in man who worship and pleases her. Shiva is the  is said to be lord and master of the deity.

The Goddess of Preservation

This is the picture of goddess Kalika Mata. She abides in side the cave fort. And She is  the protector of Her  follower during the epidemic and pandemic which breaks out in the region in times. She is so great that She hand defied even time (kala) running against it. Hence she is  called  Kalajayi    or the vanquisher of time.

Here is the Nainadevi  who bestows good of sight  or vision She have the miracle power to tender the blinds eye sight. She is very generous and merciful. that she  never returns and body empty handed to Her adherents. It is experienced that whoever is invoked her by heart and soul his/her labor  never become  null and void.

Eliminator of Depression

This Goddess is called Chintapurani because  she  eliminate the misery and melancholy. People who are invaded by stress and strains use to worship her for relief and assuage. depression leading the persons to the death bed are purged out from their gloomy and sorrowful life by the deity.

Victory Goddess

This is Brajeshweri Devi who is also popularly called as Kangadewali Devi because  Her  celestial abode is at Kangada. People believe that She has an incredible influence over the haps and  happenings around area. And She  can carry out or avert the hap and happening according to her will.

Linking Road Between Jammu and Katra

The reptile like curvature is the  road between Jammu and Katra. Road transport is possible only this way. Dangerous curves on the hilly region is the threat and challenge for the visitors. Daksheswar Temple

The beautiful structure of  Daksheswar temple is situated in Kankal. This is a legendary temple built in the memory of  Bhagbati or Suttee wife of lord Shiva who had jumped in to the flames in the Yagna Kund ( kiln of  butter and vegetables oil burned during the  Hindu rituals) for some offence made to her by her  father Dakshya. And on the very place the temple is constructed to cherish the memory of past. In the month of June, July a fair takes place here every year.

Brajeswardevi Temple

The temple of  Brajesweridevi also known as  Kangdewalidevi. This is the must visit for the devotees and failing which the pilgrimage  is incomplete. This deity is worshipped for preserving the tenants from the Muslim  invaders  from Afghan and other  Islamic  countries.

Chintopurni's Pool

The legend says that when a devotee of the Goddess had turned a stone by the side of the hillock water started flowing profusely. The stone is placed in side the Chintapurni temple and the poll has been dogged on the source point of the water.

Hathi Matha

The structure of the rock is just like the fore head of an elephant. It is situated at an altitude of 6500feet from the sea level. And it is followed by Adee kumari. It's where the journey up to the Vaishnav devi shrine become a bit difficult. hece people takes turns to go through the easiest route.

Raghunath Temple Jammu

Nainadevi Temple

Manashadevi Temple

This is Manasadevi temple one of the prominent shaktpheeth. The presiding deity is called Manasadevi, so teh temple is called after. It is nearer to  Chandigarh. During the month of March April a  grand fair is celebrated here at.

Here is the Katra but Stand from where the real journey begins. The pilgrims and tourists has to go hill atop  to have a Darshan of the  holy mother. Darshanee Darwaja

This is the famous site known as Darshanee Darwaja. here is the spot where the supernatural girl  Trikuta appeared sooner as she had vanished from Bhoomika, a nearest place.
