The Administrative Board Members
Vaishnodevi is rated as one the high visited pilgrimage in India by
devotees and tourists from India and abroad. The shrine one of the oldest
pilgrimage is existing since the time immemorial. There is is an
administrative board to maintain and regulate the Vaishnavdevi
shrine. The administrative board or the trust is looking after not
only to the temple but it is also takes care of the pilgrims and visitor
guiding and helping them in various way to avoid the critical circumstances for
the new comer of the area. The temple committee had made some rules to control
the over crowd and also provides the many facilities free of cost as the
host from the temple's behalf. The management organization was set up in
the year 1986 as Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Board. The way to the shrine was very
way to the gritty and muddy and but it has been reconstructed by the authority
now and electrification is also done around the area. Water supply and
accommodation are also under taken by the administrative board. They also have
built a hospital around the place for emergency. The committee member are
mostly volunteers who are in the human service to serve God for a noble reason.
They have an account of their committee which is resulted by the treasury of
the temple. Often Government and private undertakings and individuals
contributes some financial help to the temple generously which are spent on the
construction, maintenance and for the benefits of the devotees and
tourists who come to the place year in year out. The another source of income
to the trusts is the donations of the visiting individuals who gives money to
consecrates some money to the temple in the name of the Goddess. It has
been in the news that the temple trust is going to found a university in
the region very soon. Before this set up another governance committee named
Darmarath Trust was steering the management of the Shrine.
